		Welcome to my Gallery of : "Original  Paintings"                                                                                            Poul started painting at an early age in his native Denmark where he studied under well known Danish artist Zarus Nielsen.Moving to Canada in 1951 he studied evenings for three years at Ontario College of     Art (OCA) Attending classes under John Alfsen and George Pepper. He studied a further three years under different teachers through the famous art school. Poul has painted full time since 1973. He prefers to paint on location,  "en plein air painting" so as to capture the immediate response to a scene in nature, painting with oil and watercolours in a loose impressionistic style.                                                                                                                             He hopes to convey those feelings to the viewer.       Helen and I wish you all         Happy New Year"         Gallery 1    .Paintings.  Gallery 2.  More Paintings.
